π Description
It was around Dec 1, 05. I will get the exact day from my girlfriend later. We had just purchased a 77 acres which had 40 acres hay, the rest cedar trees and swampy areas, with a creek. Anyways, it came with 11 wrecked cars left in the bush for over 20 30 years. I called a tow truck driver to see if we could get them off the property. we arranged to meet there early saturday morning. 7am, we were late so 8 was around the meeting time up there. I met up with the tow truck driver, and proceeded to show them where the cars and trucks were. While talking, i started hearing an unfamiliar sound coming from down the valley , maybe a km away, which was pretty loud cause we were standing next to a running diesel truck which was noisy itself. Anyways I was first to mention it, I'm kinda in tune to sounds or movements in the bush, cause I'm an avid hunter. I asked them what the hell is that .. it was loud, non stop screaming, echoeing in the valley getting closer. So the tow truck guy shut off the truck to listen better. the sound was so creepy it made my eyes well up a bit. We couldnt put a name to the sound. While this was going on , there was a dozen cattle free ranging in our hay field, they started running towards us, they went farther past us to the corner of the fence. They were trying to push through the barbwire, to get away it appeared. They resembled a bunch of fish in a net trying to squirm away, all tightly bunched up, meanwhile this sound never stopped, it just got louder and louder, and closer. While the cows were doing that the free loading horse in the same pasture trotted directly towards where the sound was coming from and centered itself in the middle of that field facing the sound. Then 4 coyotes came running out of the bush all in different spots , maybe 50 to 100 yards apart but seemingly coming from the same general direction, from where the sound was originating. The coyotes themselves were running with there heads turned looking behind them as they ran. I swear they ran right past the horse without even seeing him, they kind of jioned up running through the open field past the horse, which didnt move. The screaming never stopped. It was at that time when the tow guy and his buddy left, and all he said was "well" then he left. When he left I jumped in my truck cause I wanted to make sure whatever it was wasnt going to get me. But I listened to this screaming thing for maybe 10-15 more minutes travelling past our property down the valley. As it got closer to other houses there dogs would start barking. It was only later when I talked to a few people that I decided to search for relaited sounds. It was my mother who said sasquatch. So I searched on the computer for audio sounds, and I came across one called Klamath sighting with audio, and it was the exact sound we heard, except what we heard was clear and loud and non stop for a good 25 or so minutes. The tow truck guy phoned 5 days later early in the morning and wanted to ask what I thought we were listening to. I told him about the Klamath audio.Me and my girlfrind didnt return up there to much till yesterday jan 14 06. I guess since what happened I became a little less scared. Niki and I decided to hike to the top of the other side of the property, to get a view of the house from up there. We walked across the field to the bush where the creek flows through to the same area where the sounds were coming from back in early december. The snow was about 18 inches deep, hard crunchy surface, hard to walk, it snowed heavy on wednesday the 11th of jan. 06, then warmed up. We evenually got past the creek and thick brush and came out on an old skidder trail. the property was select logged 10 15 years ago aprox. We started on that trail till we came upon some tracks that were widley spaced and large. We started looking at them, putting my boots in them, and trying to match footsteps for footstep. the only way I could do that was at a semi run, but the snow was to deep so i could do about 4 steps before i fell short of its tracks. since that heavy snowfall on wednesday, it may have snowed another inch on top of the prints. it also crossed over a down tree and never broke stride, where we had to stop and put one foot over straddling sort of. Not only that but there was no mark of snow taken off the top of the downed tree before we crossed it. Thats when I started feeling un safe again and apparently it was written all over my face. But I didnt want to seem to scared you know so I briefly glanced around for signs, of something odd. Thats when we saw a tree completly stripped of its bark on the bottom 5 feet, fresh looking too. I'm a hunter and I can tell if rubs are fresh or not. all the way around the tree was stripped of bark unlike a rub. That was the last straw, I didnt want to investigate any further at least not without more people.
