BFRO #63141: Homestead explorer has possible daytime sighting, near Dexter

It took us about an hour to cut our way in with chainsaws. The road was blocked by trees from the winter snow storm. We were the first back in there. We were going in to look for remains of an old homestead. We had walked up from the truck about a hundred yards. It's an old logging unit with trees about 10-12 feet tall. Had to pick and cut our way threw the ferms and blackberry's. I walked into a small opening on a rise. I just happened to lookout across the drainage and I noticed the outline of what looked like a person. But way out of proportion. I called for my friend to come over and look at what I was seeing. I'm old and the vision is not what it used to be. I wasn't sure I was looking at a shadow. But then it moved about two feet to the left. And just stood there and looked strait at us. We watched it still not believing what we were seeing. It was perfectly still. After a minute or two we turned away for about 10-20 seconds turned back around and it was gone. No doubt one hundred percent gone. We were looking at the head shoulders down to mid abdomen. I have worked in the woods from 14 years old. I'm 62 I've seen many black bears brown bears, moose, buffalo, nothing comes close to the size of what we saw. Thanks
