BFRO #78337: Day-time road crossing sighting 40 miles southwest of Ocala

Back in 2017 I was going on a fishing trip to Homosassa with my best friend Jason. The road that we travelled down is Yuli. You have to turn onto Old Mason Creek to take you to the boat ramp that we use. Old Mason Creek has a very defined S curve at one part of it. As we were coming down at approximately 6:30 in the morning I was coming around the curve. On that curve you can see up ahead to the next curve. 75 yards or so up ahead I could see what look like a big guy coming up from the side of the road walking from left to right from out from the woods. At that hour at that time of year the sun is just peeking over the trees. The road was half illuminated. As I went around the curve the dark shadowy figure walked up onto the road and entered into where the light was going across the road. It instantly turned from a dark shadowy figure to a brownish cinnamon color. He was staring in our direction.As I made my way around the curve there was a blind spot where I couldn't see the crossing point. As I came around the next curve he had already disappeared. I stopped the vehicle at the location and was pretty excited and freaking out as I had never seen anything like this before. My friend did not see it. He was looking out the window. He is a hunter and is always looking for deer and other animals. I could not believe he did not see what I saw. I got out of the vehicle. He was asking me what I was doing. I asked, "You didn't see that?" He said, "See what ?" I said, "That big thing, that big hairy guy that just walked across the road." He says "Walked?" I said, "Yeah, it walked across the road. It was at least seven and a half feet tall, not super thick, pretty lean but big." He says, "What? Do you think you saw a Bigfoot or something?" He laughed. I was not laughing. I was kind of in shock. I'd never seen anything close to this. He thought that I had lost my mind.

There was two of us in the truck but only I had the sighting.
