The summary concluded that DoD did not have a comprehensive, coordinated policy for addressing UAPs, that components used varying procedures to collect and analyze incidents, and that the DoD should implement changes via 11 recommendations to unify policy and procedures. Separately, in March 2024 the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office published the historical record volume 1, reviewing investigations from 1945 to present and reiterating that there is no evidence of extraterrestrial technology, while the government continues to monitor and report UAP incidents.
