Latest verified Nashville/Middle Tennessee UAP-related updates include a May 17, 2025 sighting near Nashville described in a MADAR SIR as a metallic silver sphere about 40 feet in diameter, with an orange light near its midsection and an indented band. The object hovered in the eastern sky at roughly 75 degrees elevation at about 1,000 feet altitude and was observed for about 30 seconds before vanishing behind a tree. The witness stated there were aircraft in the vicinity but no interaction occurred. A magnetometer spike was recorded at MADAR node 33 (Thompson Station, TN) at the corresponding local time, and a drawing of the object was attached to the NUFORC submission (NUFORC reference 189703).
