Raymond Halleran, 49 at the time, was reported missing after he was last seen at his residence in St. Vincent’s, St. Mary’s Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, on January 12, 2018. RCMP later indicated he may also have been in St. John’s that same day. Multiple renewed search efforts were conducted in September 2019 with approximately 50 participants and found no new clues. Police issued additional public appeals in 2020, 2021, and 2022 noting the investigation remains active. As of December 7, 2025, no announcement indicates he has been located.

🔍 Circumstances

According to RCMP and local reports, Halleran was last seen leaving or at his home in St. Vincent’s on January 12, 2018; police believed he may have been picked up by someone in a vehicle and may also have been in St. John’s later that day. Subsequent large-scale searches of the St. Vincent’s area in September 2019, including ground, shoreline, and aerial assets, did not uncover evidence. Police have continued to review leads and issue appeals through at least 2022; no confirmed sightings or discoveries have been reported.

Male, approximately 5 ft 9 in (175 cm), 175 lb (79 kg), grey eyes, brown hair possibly dyed purple at the time. Last seen wearing blue jeans, khaki shoes, camouflage jacket and hat, and carrying a black duffle bag.
