Brady Sherman-Tompkins, 25, was last seen at about 10 p.m. on August 29, 2019, at a residence in Richmond Settlement, New Brunswick. He phoned a family member on September 2, 2019, but his whereabouts remained unknown; he had been living in the Moncton area at the time. On October 30, 2020, the New Brunswick RCMP said the disappearance was suspicious and that criminality may have been involved. On November 7, 2022, RCMP announced they were investigating the disappearance as a homicide and released new information indicating his remains may be located in a wooded area between Carrolls Crossing (near Doaktown) and Berry Mills (Moncton area), and that a burnt vehicle may also be connected. As of December 7, 2025, there have been no public announcements that his remains have been recovered or that arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active.
